David is the founding Partner & President of Oberon Capital Corporation. Oberon has helped mineral resource and energy company’s raise over $1.6 billion for exploration and development in Canada while helping Oberon’s clients donate over $450 million to registered Canadian charities. David is RMC Class of 1985 (Fuels & materials Engineering) and served in the RCN aboard Her Majesty’s Canadian ships and submarines until 1994. He earned an MBA in 1996 and began an institutional financial services career before founding Oberon in 2009. David serves as a director of the RMC Alumni Association, a director of Chibougamau Independent Mines, and sits on the Board of Governors of Trails Youth Initiative. David is the very proud father of two exceptional young men and counts himself blessed with his partner Shelley.

Norm joined Oberon in May 2016 to expand the sales and distribution activities for the firm’s charitable and investment products.

Norm is responsible for educating major gift donors and their charities on the benefits of using flow-through shares to make their gifts and has helped facilitate millions of dollars of donations in the most tax efficient means possible. Prior to joining Oberon, he spent the previous 4 years managing donor relationships across the country for another charity flow-through provider. He was also responsible for new product development, while running the securities arm of the provider. His financial services career spans over 20 years with roles in sales and trading at both domestic and international banks.

Norm is active in the charity sector and is the Treasurer of the Parent Council of his childrens’ school. Norm is married with 4 teen and young adult children.

Tamara joined Oberon in June 2022 to lead the capital markets side of Oberon.

Tamara is a mining industry professional with 30 years of experience in the mining and capital markets sectors. She has held increasingly senior roles with international mining companies including as Interim CEO, Vice President Corporate Development and Vice President Investor Relations. She is currently an independent director of Orla Mining Ltd. (TSX), Lithium Royalty Corp. (TSX) and 29 Metals Limited (ASX). Tamara was previously a professional engineer in the mining industry and a partner of a boutique investment banking firm. She has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Curtin University in Australia and has completed the Chartered Business Valuator course at York University.

Tamara is an Independent Director of Orla Mining Ltd. (TSX:OLA), Lithium Royalty Corp. (TSX:LIRC) and 29Metals Ltd. (ASX:29M). She is married with 4 children - one who is in university and 3 in high school.

Henry joined Oberon Capital Corporation in early 2023.  Henry is a trusted and highly experienced consultant to accomplished business owners and affluent families on matters associated with transition and wealth planning.

In addition to being a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA), Henry is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), a Master Financial Advisor – Philanthropy (MFA-P), a Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA), and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Illinois).

Henry has earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business. Henry has completed Levels I, II, and III of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program and has been a Group Study Leader for the Program. Henry has also taught a Tax Course with the University of Toronto.

Greg joined Oberon in 2017 to expand the market for the firm’s charitable and investment products. Over the last twenty years Greg has been involved in the Canadian junior resource sector with several junior mining resource companies and has been involved in securing major gifts for charities both in education and sport across Canada and the U.S.

Prior to 1998 Greg was a professional baseball player in Major League Baseball with the Florida Marlins (now Miami Marlins) as well as a Canadian Olympian in Seoul, Korea in 1988. Greg is married and has three children which he still remains actively involved in coaching at the elite level.

Ivan joined Oberon Capital Corporation in early 2022 in order to help the sales team expand and develop the Quebec market.

Before joining Oberon, Ivan was involved in the capital markets area in sales and trading for an institutional fixed income boutique based in Montreal. Ivan is a CFA and MBA.

Aida joined Oberon Capital Corporation in 2013 bringing with her over 20 years of investment industry experience.

Prior to joining Oberon, Aida was Senior Compliance Officer and Operations Manager at Byron Capital Markets. Prior to working at Byron, Aida worked at an independent institutional investment dealer where she held progressively responsible positions including Assistant Controller, Institutional Equity Trader and Syndication Manager.

Al joined Oberon Capital Corporation in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer.  Al is an entrepreneurial finance executive and brings more than 30 years of operational and advisory experience in a wide range of capacities and industries. In addition to being a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA), Al is also a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Illinois). Al has his Bachelor of Commerce degree (BComm) from the University of Saskatchewan and a Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (DIFA) from the University of Toronto.

Tania joined Oberon in January 2024 and is a seasoned marketing professional. She has 20 years of experience working with issuers in the mining sector in various capacities including roles in Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications. She is the Principal of TB Investor Relations and is currently an Investor Relations Consultant for Aston Minerals and Moon River Capital. Tania earned the CPIR designation from the Ivey School of Business in 2012 and is a member in good standing of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.
